Welcome to Alva Japan Tours — a Tokyo-based tour company offering local, interactive experiences for travelers who want to discover Japan beyond the guidebook.

Our tours are operated by English-speaking local guides who are trained by our team. Rather than simply explaining famous landmarks, our guides help you experience Tokyo through conversation, interaction, and a genuine local perspective.

Our Story

AlvaJapan LLC was founded in 2025 with the belief that Japan’s tourism experiences could become more personal, more local, and more connected.

As travel to Japan returned and grew rapidly, we saw two things happening at the same time: many travelers wanted more authentic experiences, and many local people with international backgrounds wanted more opportunities to share Japan with the world.

Alva Japan Tours was born from that connection.

The name “Alva” is inspired by the idea of dawn — a new beginning.
For us, it represents a new way to experience Tokyo: more personal, more interactive, and more connected to real local life.
